Amusement Rides

Jenkinson's South Amusement Park offers a variety of rides for your family.

With several rides intended for small children, it's a great place for a child's first amusement park experience. At the southern most end of our amusement park you will find our larger rides. Teenagers and kids at heart alike will be thrilled by rides such as the our new Swing Ride, Himalaya, and Moby Dick.

The Amusement Park will be open weekends beginning March 23rd.

 

We also offer weekly ride specials from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Every Tuesday from Noon - 6pm we have Wristband Day and every Friday from 5-11pm we have Wristband Night. Ride all the rides for just $18 per person.

Carousel

Jenkinson's Carousel is a traditional Merry Go Round. With both moving horses and benches to sit on, this ride is enjoyable for both kids and adults alike.
Age/Height Requirements:
42 inches & over unless with a paid adult
Ticket Requirements: 3 tickets

Convoy Race

The Convoy Race is a child favorite at Jenkinson's! Riders have their choice of bright-colored trucks and can get the feel of driving their truck around a pre-determined track. Kids can also get the chance to drive their parents around the track, as this ride is for both kids and adults!
Age/Height Requirements: No riders under 32 inches, between 32 & 36 inches with a paid adult
Ticket Requirements: 5 Tickets

Crazy Bus

Any kid would like to take this bus to school! The Crazy Bus goes high in the sky in two directions, with a quick stop on top! Adults and kids can also ride this ride.
Age/Height Requirements:
No riders under 42 inches unless with a paid adult
Ticket Requirements: 5 tickets

Helicopters, Elephants & Airplanes

These rides are for the more adventurous of little kids, as each rider has the option to soar high in the sky! Each copter, elephant, and plane is equipped with a lever that allows the ride to go up in the air at the rider's discretion.
Age/Height Requirements:
Helicopters - Min 36 inches and max of 54 inches
Elephants - No riders under 36 inches unless with a paid adult
Airplanes - Min of 36 inches and max of 54 inches
Ticket Requirements:
Helicopters - 4 Tickets
Elephants - 4 Tickets
Airplanes - 4 Tickets

Alligators, Bulgy, Fire Trucks & Boats

These rides are great "first rides" for any child. Specifically designed for small children, with the height restrictions set as such, these slower paced rides stay level and move in a circular motion.
Age/Height Requirements:
Alligators - Min of 30 inches and max of 48 inches
Bulgy the Whale - Min of 22 inches and max of 52 inches
Fire Trucks & Boats - Max of 48 inches
Ticket Requirements:
Alligators - 3 Tickets
Bulgy the Whale - 3 Tickets
Fire Trucks - 3 Tickets
Boats - 3 Tickets

Train

Jenkinson's train is an historic crowd favorite! Adults and kids can enjoy this antique-style train that slowly travels around the perimeter of the kiddie-end rides and offers amazing views of the beach, boardwalk, and amusement park.

Min of 42 inches unless with a paid adult
Ticket Requirements: 4 Tickets

Samba Balloons & Balloon Race Ferris Wheel

Go up, up and away in these balloon rides. The Samba Balloons tilt and spin, while the Balloon Race Ferris Wheel is a miniature ferris wheel offering a traditional ferris wheel ride.  Children and adults can enjoy both balloon rides.
Age/Height Requirements:
Samba Balloons - No riders under 42 inches unless with a paid adult
Balloon Race Ferris Wheel - No riders under 42 inches unless with a paid adult

Motor Jump

Pop some wheelies on these red, white and blue motorcycles! Ride solo or with a pal and take a spin on one of Jenkinson's most popular rides for little kids.

Min of 30 inches and max of 54 inches

Dizzy Dragons

Get dizzy with a spin on the Dizzy Dragons! These brightly colored dragons move as a whole in a circular motion, while also giving the riders the opportunity to spin their own dragon at their own speed. Adults and kids can enjoy this ride.
Age/Height Requirements:
Min of 36 inches unless with a paid adult
Ticket Requirements: 5 Tickets

Boardwalk Bounce

Free fall on the Bounce! This ride bounces up and down and offers quite a thrill! Also take advantage of the amazing views of the beach and boardwalk while at the top!

Min of 42 inches

Swings & Wave Swinger

Jenkinson's offers two swing rides – one for children and one for adults. The Swings is a relaxing ride for kids with individual seating that slowly moves in a circular motion. The Wave Swinger is an adult version that not only spins circularly, but also raises in the air. The Wave Swinger also has single and double seating.
Age/Height Requirements:
Swings - Min of 36 inches and max of 54 inches
Wave Swinger - Min of 38 inches and between 38 inches and 44 inches with a paid adult
Ticket Requirements:

Wave Swinger - 7 Tickets

Bumper Cars

Jenkinson's Bumper Cars are traditional bumper cars. These cars can accomodate two riders each - as long as each rider is 52" and above.
Age/Height Requirements:
Min of 52 inches, no exceptions

Rockin' Tug

This tug boat sure is rockin'! Adults and children can enjoy this ride that swings around in a circular motion and simulates a ride on a rocky sea!

Min of 42 inches unless with a paid adult

Starship

This ride is similar to the Gravitron, using centrifugal force and speed to spin you around. And it looks like a real spaceship!
Age/Height Requirements:
Min of 42 inches, between 42 inches and 48 inches with a paid adult

Tilt-A-Whirl

Jenkinson's Tilt-A-Whirl is like a blast from the past. Spin back and forth in your individual car while the entire platform turns.
Age/Height Requirements:
Min of 46 inches unless with a paid adult

Moby Dick

Sit on the edge of your seat in this thrilling, fast-pace ride that brings you high in the sky and then takes you right back down again, and just as fast! This ride also offers amazing views of the boardwalk and ocean while it's stopped on top!
Age/Height Requirements:
Min of 42 inches, between 42 inches and 48 inches with a paid adult
Ticket Requirements: 8 Tickets

Pendolo

The newest ride at Jenkinson's, the Pendolo swings back and forth in a pendulum motion while rotating in a circular motion.

Age/ Height Requirements:

Min of 48 inches

Ticket Requirements: 10 tickets

Tornado & Flitzer

Jenkinson's coasters offer thrills for all ages. The Tornado is a smaller, train-like coaster with a shorter track. The Flitzer offers individual cars, with a longer track and steeper dips. Be sure to stop by Flitzer Photo Booth and purchase a souvenir photo or keychain to remember your fun time on Jenkinson's Flitzer!
Age/Height Requirements:
Tornado - Min of 42 inches unless with a paid adult
Flitzer -  Min of 42 inches with no exceptions, no single rides, and min of 85 lbs in a car
Ticket Requirements:
Tornado - 6 Tickets
Flitzer - 8 Tickets

Super Himalaya

Rock out on this music express! Listen to today's hottest tunes while spinning backward and forward with great speed!
Age/Height Requirements:
Min of 42 inches, between 42 inches and 50 inches with a paid adult
