Pre-registration is required for all workshops. Call (732) 899-1659. Workshop price includes all day Aquarium admission on the day of the workshop. Workshops for children ages 5 & up unless otherwise noted. Workshops are subject to cancellation.
July and August
SEAfari Camp
July 7 – August 20
Tuesday through Thursday 9:00 am to 1:00 pm Ages 6-10 only
SEAfari Campers will learn about the different animals at the aquarium & their relatives. From crafts & games to activities & live animal visits, this camp is sure to provide both a fun & educational experience. Sneakers are required. Each week will have its own theme. Registration begins May 2009.
FEE: $150.00 per child per week
Junior Keepers
July 6 – August 21
Mondays and Fridays 8:00 am to 1:00 pm Ages 11-15 only
A great program for future marine biologists, Junior Keepers provides the opportunity to experience the aquarium from an employee’s point of view. Our “helpers” will assist with various tasks including animal enrichment, logging, and feeding some of our animals. Each week will focus on a particular area of the aquarium and will include many activities. Sneakers are required. Registration begins May 2009.
FEE: $80.00 per child per day
Additional $10.00 to purchase Junior Keepers t-shirt
Celebrate Sharks
Monday, July 13 All Day All Ages General Admission
The teeth! The fins! Explore the mystery surrounding these misunderstood creatures. Learn the facts vs. the fiction about different species of sharks & why we need to protect all of them from extinction.
