Jenkinson’s Boardwalk announces it’s 2010 “MOVIES ON THE BEACH”  Movies will begin at 9:00 pm on the Pavilion Beach. Admission is free. Grab your beach chair or blanket and enjoy watching a movie with your family under the stars!

Every night visit our shark discovery table, listen to informative shark chats or attend one of our shark themed storytimes. Different interactive shark activities will be held each night! Fee: General Admission

Program runs from Tuesday through Thursdays for Ages 5-10. Created for mini-marine biologists, Aquarium Explorers Camp will provide children the chance to learn about aquarium inhabitants through crafts, games, and live animal visits! There will be different themes each week. Sneakers are required. Registration begins May 2010. FEE: $150.00 per child per week. Sign up for as few or as many weeks as you would like.

Get ready to get your feet wet and find out who lives in our local waters during this free program at Gull Island. We will identify and investigate these residents through hands-on activities.

Meet Jenkinson’s Aquarium staff members at Gull Island County Park (located next to Spike’s Fish Market on Broadway, near the Manasquan Bridge). Learn how to seine for small fish and other animals while focusing on conserving the marine environment.

Pre-registration would be appreciated. Please call 732-899-1659. Be prepared to get wet and muddy. Old sneakers or water shoes are recommended.

Everyone has a Super Hero they look up to. Come down to Jenkinson’s to meet some of your favorite Hero’s. Jenkinson’s offers free face painting, arts and crafts and much more. Come dressed as your favorite Super Hero and get a FREE round of Rooftop Golf!

Baby Parade- 3pm Open to children 7 and under (will be held inside the Pavilion)

Enjoy live stage shows performed by Valhalla’s Pirates. Children can dress up in pirate outfits and act out a pirate story. Between shows, pirates will stroll the boardwalk for a meet and greet and to pose for pictures. Check out the pyratology workshop table to learn about the history of pirates, great for older kids!
